Overall I'm happy, I finally saw a live performance of one of my favourite bands. Not giving 5 stars for two reasons. One is personal, I totally disliked the Annisokay performance that preceded Sharon & co. I love simphonic metal and even something harder (let's say Amaranthe is the limit), but 40 minutes of screams are just too much for my tastes. The second is possibly in the organization. I was not alone starting to be a bit annoyed during the 40 minutes gap between Annisokay and Within Temptation. Maybe the gap was intended to be filled by the Ukranian band that could not be there, but nevertheless, 40 minutes of nothing, only relieved by the fantastic performance of Within Temptation and super appreciated the presence of Tarja.

Dutch symphonic metal band Within Temptation combine colossal riffs with an epic classical sound.
First formed in 1996, the seven-piece band now consists of Sharon den Adel (lead vocals), Robert Westerholt (rhythm guitar, unclean vocals), Jeroen van Veen (bass), Martijn Spierenburg (keys), Ruud Jolie (lead guitar), Mike Coolen (drums) and Stefan Helleblad (rhythm guitar).
They have released eight studio albums, including Enter (1997), Mother Earth (2000), The Silent Force (2004), The Heart of Everything (2007), The Unforgiving (2011), Hydra (2014), Resist (2019) and latest release Bleed Out (2023).
