Nouvelle Vague, The Crossing, Birmingham - 8th March 2024
Loved the performance and the great energy. Have listened to the band for many years, this was the first opportunity to see them live. Union Chapel is a great venue to experience performances in an intimate environment. Wonderful show.

Nouvelle Vague, Union Chapel, London - 5th March 2024
Great to see such an iconic band at such a great venue! The new stuff isn’t as new wave as the classic Nouvelle Vague but everyone had a blast. Amazing music and spectacular dancing!

Nouvelle Vague, Union Chapel, London - 5th March 2024
Great gig, the sound was amazing. Lots of room for the singers to wander about. We chose a seat in the side balcony which was really good.

Nouvelle Vague, Union Chapel, London - 5th March 2024
Nouvelle Vague is a French band celebrated for their imaginative reworkings of punk, new wave, and post-punk classics in bossa nova style. Founded by Marc Collin and Olivier Libaux, the group brings a lounge-inspired twist to hits like Joy Division’s "Love Will Tear Us Apart" and The Clash’s "Guns of Brixton". Their mellow, retro sound combines French elegance with a playful reinterpretation of punk, creating a blend that appeals to fans of classic and contemporary music alike. With softly sung vocals and jazzy rhythms, Nouvelle Vague captures a timeless, cinematic quality that redefines each track they cover.
The band has toured extensively, with regular stops at UK festivals and iconic venues like London’s Union Chapel. Their live performances are known for their intimate, sophisticated atmosphere, and each show becomes a unique experience as they explore the emotional range of beloved songs. Nouvelle Vague’s innovative approach has earned them a dedicated following across Europe, making them one of the most original acts to transform punk and new wave music into a soothing, nostalgic experience.
