Art and music venue Le Pub has been serving the people of Newport for over 30 years, providing a vital focal point for the community and beyond. First opening doors in 1992, the community interest company enjoys an outstanding reputation for staging the best cutting-edge artists and future sounds shaping the cultural landscape in an intimate setting. They also regularly host comedy events plus film screenings, opening late for club nights.
In addition to being a bar and gig spot, Le Pub also sells food with an entirely vegan-friendly menu on offer which is praised by Eat Out Vegan Wales.

Southampton pop-punks Slackrr have been catching the attention of both KERRANG! and Rock Sound, bursting out of the underground and appearing on BBC radio shows around the UK. Their fanbase continues to swell, and their show at Le Pub which sees them joined by Black Vultures and Simple As! is expected to quickly sell out.

Enthralling composer and multi-instrumentalist Cerys Hafana explores the experimental fringes of folk. Singing in her native Welsh, her angelic voice harmonises with the triple harp, casting an exquisite spell over her listeners.

Pop-post-punk group Silent Forum first impressed when they dropped debut album Everything Solved at Once back in 2019. They’ve returned this year with a sensational second LP Domestic Majestic which they show off at Le Pub next month. Support comes from Casper James and the Corntown Orchestra plus Parcs.

Americana UK Award winning artist Hannah White has a widespread appeal, with her music heard on BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6music. The London-based singer-songwriter has a melancholic streak which feels both fresh and timeless, marking her as a true star in ascendancy. Wiltshire pop-rock outfit All Ears Avow have received widespread praise from such esteemed publications as Kerrang! Magazine, Rock Sound and Punktastic. Their unforgettable live performances driven by huge pop riffs and infectious melodies have earned them an ever-growing following, as they look set to break into the mainstream.
Our City Fires are a rousing alt-rock band from Leicester. Their anthemic feel with ferocious guitars is inspired by the likes of You Me at Six, Foo Fighters and Paramore, leading to prominent airplay on Total Rock Radio and BBC Introducing.

The Rabbitts are an experimental folk duo from Norwich. Centred around acoustic guitar, the pair also employ mandolins to create a spellbinding yet understated ethereal sound. Their impactful record releases include the Seeking Shade EP which they recorded in a van, plus singles “Signs”, “Rise” and “Day Like Today”.
They are joined next month at Le Pub by Generation Ferral AKA confessional songwriter Izzy Liddamore.
