Iconic amusement park Dreamland in Margate opens its doors to a huge range of rock, pop and dance greats for a massive summer of outdoor music events. Look forward to enjoying unmissable headline performances from such esteemed acts as Jess Glynne, IDLES, James Arthur and more!
The Kentish landmark first opened in the 19th century and was later renamed Dreamland in 1920. The rides include the Scenic Railway wooden rollercoaster which is a Grade II listed building, and the site was redeveloped in 2015 with further improvements made two years later.
The recent years have seen the tourist attraction transformed into a concert venue. Previous spectacular shows have included such stars as Tom Jones, Biffy Clyro, McFly, Lucy Spraggan and james have all graced their Scenic Stage and 2024 is set to be an even bigger year.

Premier drum and bass band Rudimental will take over Dreamland for an evening of electrifying live music. The MOBO Award winners have dominated the charts with their Mercury-nominated debut No. 1 album Home and hits like "Bloodstream" and "Feel The Love". The decorated group won a BRIT Award for Best British Single with “Waiting All Night" and were shortlisted for Best New Act, and Best UK and Ireland Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards.

Scottish art-rock band Simple Minds burst onto the scene in the 1980s, bridging the gap between critical acclaim and commercial success. Their impressive career earned them the prestigious Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Song Collection from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers, and Authors. They are best known for their smash hit "Don't You (Forget About Me)".

Julian Marley stirs the soul with his evocative take on reggae music. His record releases include Lion in the Morning (1996), A Time & Place (2003), Awake (2009) and As I Am (2019). This year has seen the star win a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album for Colors of Royal, written and recorded in collaboration with Antaeus.

Sam Ryder became a TikTok online sensation posting covers during the lockdown. IDLES have collaborated with longtime Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich to craft their fifth album Tangk. This record takes a more soulful direction than their previous work, with singer Joe Talbot exploring the nature of love and friendship whilst the band playfully experimented with a deconstructed take on post-punk.

Hip-hop legends The Roots and De La Soul have announced a huge co-headline show at Dreamland this summer. The major music event takes place on Friday 2nd August 2024 with tickets now on sale with Gigantic.

Hackney-born UK-Garage legend DJ Spoony (AKA Johnathan Joseph) helped elevate the genre from the underground to become a mainstream phenomenon. Teaming up with Mikee B and Timmi Magic, the trio became the Dreem Team and popularised their pioneering sound on the pirate radio station London Underground in the 90s.
DJ Spoony was first embraced by Kiss 100, then BBC Radio 1 and later BBC Radio 5 Live, proving his vast appeal. He released his Garage Classical album in 2019 and held DJ residencies in top clubs in Ibiza and Ayia Napa for over a decade.

Dance-pop star Becky Hill has risen from being a contestant on The Voice UK to global fame. After hitting No. 1 after lending her vocals to Oliver Heldens for "Gecko (Overdrive)", Hill went on to team up with David Guetta on "Remember", winning British Song of the Year and Best Dance Act at the 2022 BRIT Awards. She would again win the Best Dance trophy the following year.
