Horror-punk Wednesday 13 returns to where it all began, announcing a Murderdolls tour where you can hear such primal tracks as “My Dark Place”, “Dead In Hollywood” and “Summertime Suicide” played live once again!
Celebrating 21 years since the band released their first record, the full set of Murderdolls songs will include tracks from the 2002 debut album Beyond The Valley Of The Murderdolls plus their rampaging second LP Women and Children Last which saw them win the Revolver Golden Gods Comeback Of The Year Award in 2010.

Formed in 1999, Murderdolls started as a side project for Slipknot drummer Joey Jordinson who swapped sticks for the six-string, and Static-X guitarist Tripp Eisen. The band was completed after recruiting bassist Eric Griffin, drummer Ben Graves and singer Wednesday 13 AKA Joseph Michael Poole.
Tapping into horror punk, Murderdolls would unleash their rampaging first record Beyond The Valley Of The Murderdolls featuring a blaze of furious riffs and aggressive lyrics. It would smash into the Top 40 and include the gloriously over-the-top single “Dead In Hollywood” plus a creepy cover of Billy Idol’s classic single “White Wedding”.
Despite reaching silver sales with their debut album, each of the Murderdolls would return to their main bands with Wednesday 13 pursuing a solo career which saw the release of the Transylvania 90210: Songs of Death, Dying, and the Dead, Fang Bang and Calling All Corpses albums. The singer would end the hiatus in 2010, returning to the studio to record Women and Children Last. The critically acclaimed sophomore album has become another cult hit for fans around the globe.
Now, working with Murderdolls alumni Roman Surman and Jack Tankersley, Wednesday 13 announces a tour to mark the coming of age of the horror-punk supergroup. The headline shows come after the tragic death of Joey Jordison and celebrate the life and work of the man who first started it all.
“After 21 years since its release, and the recent sad and premature passing of Joey, it only feels right to go out and celebrate these songs. We made two amazing albums that I was very proud of, and unfortunately, much of the world didn’t get a chance to hear the songs live.”
