Ive been going to this for years and it's always a great day. The atmosphere is always chill, always a new unexpected band to discover and some bigger names in some great venues. I hope to go for many years to come.

Are You Listening? Festival, Various Venues in Reading, Reading - 11th May 2024
As per usual there was good quality at the festival but my only quibble - that having been to all the venues apart from Milk and Face Bar, it would have been good to have more diversity in terms of the artists playing at AYL in terms of colour and Music of Black Origin.

Despite (what I think is) a sharp increase in the ticket price and a reduction in the number of performers and venues, RUL is still a good event and I hope that it continues in the future. With respect to the performers, I think overall quality of the bands has slipped a bit; for me there was no stand out sets or bands that I found that memorable. RUL remains, however a lot of fun and a great excuse to meet friends, check out some music that you may miss otherwise and have a few drinks!

Are You Listening? Festival, Various Venues in Reading, Reading - 11th May 2024
The hub area, whilst more set up for live music than previous years still seemed too small for the people arriving the pick their wristbands/get a drink etc.. The overall quality of the music was excellent, far higher than previous years. Good locations for the music, although Oakford Social Club was missing which was a shame. The set up at Milk Bar was all wrong with people constantly walking in front of the artist which must have been off-putting. I would recommend putting the artist back in the usual place next year. It's usually my favourite location but not this year. Not enough information/promotion of the charities that benefit. It's a great festival but could be even better with a few small tweaks.

Great eclectic mix of genres across the venues . The Hub brought music to people walking past, which i thought was good . Top day all round .
