Traams Tickets

The music of TRAAMS can best be described as krautrock inspired post punk. The three piece band unites drummer Adam Stock with guitarist Stuart Hopkins and Leigh Padley and on bass.

Formed in Chichester, West Sussex, during 2011, the band was a reaction against the boring venues of the area. Having nowhere to go other than pubs and bars that play crap club music, the trio wanted some means of hearing something more compelling. This sense of frustration bleeds into the music with relentless rhythm and desperation characterising the lyrics.

Championed by Marc Riley on BBC6 Music, the band signed to the label FatCat and released their debut EP Ladders in 2013. This was soon followed by their first studio album Grin.

They continued their hard work by supporting Drenge on their sold out UK tour, playing a stunning showcase at SXSW in America and releasing the EP Cissa in 2014.

In addition to the band, Hopkins also has a club night at which he plays experimental music, with Wire, New Order and Le Tigre being amongst his favourites.

They support phenomenal band Eagulls at Fiddlers in vibrant Bristol on Wednesday 26th of October.

TRAAMS tickets are about to come on sale. Set yourself a personal reminder to arrive by text message or email so you are ready for their release at 10:00 on Tuesday 30th of August.

They play at The Bullingdon in leafy Oxford and Aatma at Manchester this November.
Their gig tickets are limited so please book well in advance or risk missing out.
