Great to finally see her - I've been following Mackenzie for years now but this is the first chance I've had to see her. Excellent gig, full of energy, and so so loud it almost hurt! Backed by keyboards, a pedal steel and drums, all really accomplished, and with Mackenzie's amazing guitaring. Favourite of the night was Gracious Day, written to persuade her girlfriend to come back to her. Unsurprisingly, she did!

Torres is the stage name of Orlando based indie rock singer / songwriter Mackenzie Ruth Scott.

She has released five studio albums, including Torres (2013), Sprinter (2015), Three Futures (2017), Silver Tongue (2020) and Thirstier (2021).

Her top streamed tracks include “Don’t Go Puttin Wishes in My Head”, “Three Futures”, “Sprinter”, “Thirstier” and “New Skin”.

Artist Bio

Mackenzie Scott is better known by her stage name Torres. Taking on aspects of indie, folk and alternative rock, she continues to impress as she develops as an artist.

Scott shot to attention with the release of her stunning self-titled debut in 2013. The eponymously album quickly gained her widespread media attention.

It was followed two years later by second album Sprinter. Taking on aspects of 90’s alt rock, her second album release continued to thrill the critics.
