A brilliant afternoon. The venue felt very festive and there was a good range of food stalls. This isn't the first time I've bought tickets from The Village Screen and it won't be the last.

We all really enjoyed this cinema experience the abbeydale picture house is very grand it’s more like a theatre than a cinema, it was decorated really well with mood lighting, Christmas trees and decorations. There’s always so much great attention to detail at these events and you can see a lot of effort goes into it. The positives were the venue was warm the seats were comfy and the carollers and the surprise snow shower at the end made it feel really Christmassy. Negatives were difficult parking and I didn’t rate the choice of food vendors but that’s down to personal taste. Also it was great to have the cathedral archer project there.

Our first visit to a village screen event and Abbeydale Picture Palace. What a wonderful night, from carol singing to delicious food and cocktails, topped off with the classic film Gremilns. Really put us all in the Christmas spirit. Thank you village screen, we will be back.
