We've been following The Men They Couldn't Hang for forty years. This year, 2024 is their 40th Anniversary tour so we are travelling up and down the Country with them on this epic journey. Loads of different venues, towns and cities. Thirteen gigs booked with them so far. The Wedgewood Rooms was our third venue. Amazing place, great atmosphere and a great crew(especially one particular female member of the security team!)

Formed in 1984, The Men They Couldn't Hang are veterans on the folk punk scene.
Their extensive back catalogue includes the ten studio albums Night of a Thousand Candles (1985), How Green Is the Valley (1986), Waiting for Bonaparte (1988), Silver Town (1989), The Domino Club (1990), Never Born to Follow (1996), The Cherry Red Jukebox (2003), Devil on the Wind (2009), The Defiant (2014) and Cock-a-Hoop (2018).
