Amazing performance

I didnt know what to expect as it being a small venue, but the interaction the arist had with the audience was brilliant! It added a personal touch to the show.

Intimate gig

Fantastic gig, Sleeper played beautiful unplugged versions of their catalogue and shared hilarious stories from their lives in the band. Really charismatic and friendly performance, the band were so generous with their time and really available to talk to fans. Loved it!

Led by Louise Werner, indie stars Sleeper exploded in the 90’s to become a major player in the Britpop movement. Hits like "What Do I Do Now?", "Nice Guy Eddie" and "Sale of the Century" saw them rise high into the charts, and their cover of “Atomic” by Blondie featured in cult movie Trainspotting.

The albums include Smart (1995), The It Girl (1996), Pleased to Meet You (1997), The Modern Age (2019) and This Time Tomorrow (2021).

Sleeper are Louise Wener (vocals, rhythm guitar), Jon Stewart (lead guitar), Andy Maclure (drums), and Kieron Pepper (bass).

Artist Bio

Led by Louise Wener, Sleeper are the incredible indie band that continue to thrill their fans as their reach ever greater audiences which also includes Jon Stewart, Diid Osman and Andy Maclure.

They burst onto the scene in the mid 90’s with the release of their formidable debut album Smart which peaked at No. 5 in the charts in February of 1995 and has subsequently been certified as Gold.
