Went down Saturday evening. Had been raining all day which may have impacted numbers, though I’m not sure how busy it had been through the day. Some great live music and the beer selection was great. Hoping that Friday - when the sun shone - and Saturday afternoon were busy.

we are not big drinkers, it would of been nice to have chose of soft drinks as we did want the beer glass, if soft drinks was included the price would of been great, the food was good and the train attraction was good

What's not to like about a beer festival at a heritage railway? Answer: nothing! Better still, there were vintage buses, with a couple of Routemasters ferrying people around. Twenty cask beers on tap and some great street food (I had the Tandoori loaded naan with chips - brilliant! My only criticism is that the bus transfers didn't go to Loughborough or Nottingham, the two nearest mainline stations. Otherwise, a brilliant day!
