Fantastic night!

I have seen Novana once before and knew that we would be in for a fantastic evening. They didn't disappoint. In fact they seemed even better than last time and the crowd were brilliantly enthusiastic. The band manage to create the sound and vibe of Nirvana while still having their own identity; no mean feat. And as a staunch and committed Nirvana fan I wouldn't like to spend an evening watch a bad Nirvana rip-off, so top marks to Novana - keep at it and hope to see you perform at the Globe again soon. A lively, fun gig, great to sing along, a fair bit of moshing. Top night!

Artist Bio

Novana is brought to you through the stunning genius of James Cooper whose impersonation of Kurt D Cobain is uncanny, joined by Sam Howell as the towering bassist Krist Novoselic and Rob Burgess as nice guy Dave Grohl.

The amazing approximation is enhanced by the band’s authentic equipment which includes a full range of the same Electro Harmonix and Boss pedals as used by the original band ensuring that the band captures the actual roar Nirvana were famous for.

The band has recently celebrated 25 years of the classic album Nevermind with a blistering tour around the UK which had audiences driven crazy with excitement.
