Mystery Jets are an indie-rock three-piece group from London. Formed in 2003, the trio consists of Blaine Harrison (vocals, keys, guitar), Kapil Trivedi (drums) and Jack Flanagan (bass, vocals). They have released seven studio albums, including debut LP Making Dens (2006), best-seller Twenty One (2008) which is certified silver and their latest offer A Billion Heartbeats (2020).

Artist Bio

Mystery Jets are currently comprised of Henry Harrison (Piano), Blaine Harrison (Vocals, Guitar), William Rees (Vocals, Guitar), Kapil Trivedi (Drums) and Jack Flanagan (Bass).

Modernising psychedelia and prog rock, they emerged in the mid-noughties with a wonky pop sound that stood them apart from a music scene that was undergoing an obsession with revivals of post punk.

The band formed in 2003 and were originally titled The Misery Jets. The name was adapted from an Evening Standard headline reporting on the planes that would roar overhead their home of Eel Pie Island in Wickenham, London. The name change came when Blaine accidently misspelt their name as he painted it on a drum skin.

Their career has been littered with success as they band have worked hard and produced six studio albums in the past ten years.

Mystery Jets tickets are on sale now. They are set to be a great of our age so don’t miss out on seeing them for yourself.

Curve Of The Earth was released early in 2016. It sees the band release some of their most accomplished music yet with the heart wrenching Telomere being a real standout song.
