amazing concert

amazing night start to finish, only issue was not enough toilets and could have utised both sides of park with facilties, other than that fab night had by all

Fronted by the effortlessly cool Suggs; Madness led the way for the 2-tone ska revival in the late 70s and 80s to become one of Britain’s best-loved pop bands. Their oddball mix of everyday life with a surrealist edge can be heard on such colossal anthems as “Our House”, "One Step Beyond", "Baggy Trousers" and "It Must Be Love" plus UK No. 1 single "House of Fun".

Artist Bio

Madness are the very best of British ska. Having formed in North London during 1976, the band came to prominence with the ska revival led by their label 2 Tone in the late seventies and early eighties. They have grown from oddball outsiders to become one of Britain’s best loved bands.

With catchy songs, crazy videos and a occasionally a bit of social commentary, Madness quickly achieved massive chart success with such classics sings as Baggy Trousers, My Girl, One Step Beyond, Driving In My Car, It Must Be Love, Night Boat To Cairo, Lovestruck, Wings Of A Dove, and House Of Fun.

They have released eleven studio albums to date.

Their impact on the musical landscape was recognised in 2005 when they were received into the Mojo Hall of fame and 2010 saw them receive the Idol Award at the Q Awards.
