Great performance

Good open air venue. Made it more entertaining to go to races beforehand and then see the band. Madness are as entertaining as ever. Great that they performed some of their most well known songs as well as some new material.

Great night

Loved the night four bands on not heard of or listened to the 3 other bands loved the zutons the others were good too not too happy with I've had a hip replacement the would not even get me a chair some compassion could have been shown would have gone a long way

Amazing experience from start to finish From entering the venue Food stalls were plenty Bars were well staffed and not as dear as some venues . Friendly staff Would definitely go again

Madness are one of the most iconic and enduring bands to emerge from the UK, blending ska, punk, and pop into an instantly recognisable sound. Formed in Camden, London, in 1976, the band became synonymous with the 2 Tone ska movement, with hits like "Our House," "Baggy Trousers," and "It Must Be Love" propelling them to stardom. Their unique blend of upbeat rhythms, catchy hooks, and witty, observational lyrics quickly captured the hearts of fans across the globe.


Throughout their career, Madness have maintained a strong presence on the UK music scene, with multiple chart-topping albums and anthemic singles. Known for their electrifying live shows, the band has headlined major festivals, including Glastonbury, and performed at iconic venues such as London’s O2 Arena. Their music, often characterised by its upbeat tone and humorous edge, has made them a national treasure. Artist Bio

Madness are the very best of British ska. Having formed in North London during 1976, the band came to prominence with the ska revival led by their label 2 Tone in the late seventies and early eighties. They have grown from oddball outsiders to become one of Britain’s best loved bands.

With catchy songs, crazy videos and a occasionally a bit of social commentary, Madness quickly achieved massive chart success with such classics sings as Baggy Trousers, My Girl, One Step Beyond, Driving In My Car, It Must Be Love, Night Boat To Cairo, Lovestruck, Wings Of A Dove, and House Of Fun.

They have released eleven studio albums to date.

Their impact on the musical landscape was recognised in 2005 when they were received into the Mojo Hall of fame and 2010 saw them receive the Idol Award at the Q Awards.
