Simply brilliant

Supreme performance f Only complaint is the venue was unable to deal with the English summer temperatures

Erykahs voice is incredible

Loved the gig. Voice incredible. Just a shame the levels weren't great.

Amazing performance

It was an amazing night however, it would be great to have large Tv for the audience to see clearly especially being in the upper circle part. Once again Erykah Badu and her team was fantastic!

Badu is the Best!

What an amazing night. Badu was awesome and then to see Common and Talib as well just sealed it as one of the best concerts I've seen!

Memorable gig but far too hot & challenging perspectives

We enjoyed Erykah's stage presence and most of her set, apart from the rambling have-they-finished-or-not versions. However an extremely hot and stuffy evening highlighted the Apollo's lack of aircon and many audience members insistence on standing up in the circle (get a stall ticket next time guys) limited our view and diluted the overall experience.

The South Dallas singer was born in 1971 and began honing her talents from a young age. She left college to pursue her career in music and was soon signed to Universal Records after her demo tape titled County Cousins fell into the hands of Kedar Massenburg.

She rose to prominence with the release of her debut album Baduizm. The album reflected a wide range of influences, but could be described as one of the most important neo soul records ever released. An instant critical and commercial success, the world resonated with a record which revealed her innate ability for introspective lyrics backed by a stripped down yet bass heavy production which marked her as an international great.
