So many good tunes!

We really enjoyed this gig. Cast have so many good tunes! The band really seemed to be enjoying themselves too, especially John Power, who was as bouncy as ever!

Great band, shame about the acoustics

Cast were one of my go to bands in the mid to late nineties and their performance captured that energy that I had been drawn to in the first place perfectly. The only thing I would say as a little negative was the sound was poor at best unless you were absolutely straight on with the band, something I hadn't experienced with other bands I had seen in the venue.

Led by vocalist/guitarist John Power, seminal Britpop band Cast became a defining sound of 90’s indie.

The former bassist of The La’s is joined by Liam "Skin" Tyson (guitar), Keith O'Neill (drums) and Jay Lewis (bass).

They have released six records including the two platinum-certified albums All Change (1995) and Mother Nature Calls (1997), silver-selling Magic Hour (1999) plus Beetroot (2001), Troubled Times (2011) and Kicking Up the Dust (2017).

Artist Bio

Scouse indie superstars Cast are going to be playing live on a stage near you. Growing out of the Britpop of the nineties to become world famous and forever change the nature of British music. Their enduring legacy and never waning demand marks them as one of the greatest ever bands. The current line up includes drummer Keith O’Neil, guitarists Liam ‘Skin’ Tyson and John Power who fronts the band and Jay Lewis on bass.

With their popularity ever growing, you will need to act fast and book your Cast tickets before they are snatched up. You can place your gig tickets order using a tablet, computer or smartphone.

Singer Power had already become an instrumental part of the indie scene after playing bass in legendary band The La’s but left after being frustrated at the lack of development and not being able to explore his own musical ideas. Switching to rhythm guitar and recruiting his friends, Power began writing in earnest and began gigging at such hallowed grounds as The Adelphi in Hull. They were spotted by Polydor and quickly signed and by July of 1995 were #17 in the charts with their single Finetime. Debut album All Change was released by October of the same year. It featured their massive singles Alright, Walkaway and Sandstorm and hit #7 in the charts and become the biggest selling debut album for the label.

This success has continued with further album released Mother Nature Calls and Magic Hour both breaking the Top 10 and subsequent releases Beetroot and Trouble Times becoming massive fan favourites.

The excitement continues to build and we expect Cast concert tickets to sell very fast.
