Absolutely Smashing Show

So much I could say about this show, met some absolutely amazing people and the crowd was certainly wild. You could tell that everyone was hyped up at the start of the show and it continued on throughout the night. Absolutely great show, CAS was unreal

CASISDEAD, DNU Queens Margret Union, Glasgow - 26th October 2024

Great show, loved the futeristic feel of it

Great show, loved the futeristic feel of it reminded me of cyberpunk or the game 'The ruiner'. The girl in the box was interesting, it gave off this disassocative feeling, sort of unsettling, I think it really added to the astetic of the show loved all the songs/acts

CASISDEAD, Chalk, Brighton - 22nd February 2024

Rap and grime MC, songwriter, and producer CASISDEAD (formerly known as Castro Saint) is based in Tottenham, London. Signed to XL Recordings, a label famed for its pedigree roster of daring innovators, he wears as mask at all performances and his true identity is unknown.

CASISDEAD’s debut album Famous Last Words dropped in 2023 and smashed into the Top 10 – it also hit No. 1 in the UK hip hop charts.

Artist Bio

CASISDEAD is the masked alter ego of the stern rapper and producer previously known as Castro Saint, Castro, and Cas. A native of London, England's Tottenham district, the artist debuted during the mid-2000s. He went inactive after a couple years and then returned, ultimately switching to the CASISDEAD alias, supported by a multimedia crew called the Dead Team. The earliest nightmarish narratives from CASISDEAD were summarized on The Number 23 (2013), a mixtape with a diverse set of productions highlighted by the sleek "Leon Best." An EP-length set entitled Commercial 2 (2015) featured retro-futuristic synthesizer-driven material sourced from the likes of Chromatics and Glass Candy. A crop of singles and collaborative crossover one-offs followed thereafter, including "Before This" (Later), "Does It" (Tricky), and "Won't Admit It's Love" (Toddla T). Headlining singles "The Grid" (2017) and "Pat Earrings" (2018) continued his affair with dramatic, if considerably less grim, material.
