Fabulous!!

Barenaked Ladies is one of my favorite bands of all time and they didn't disappoint at The Roundhouse. Must see!!

Wonderful gig

Great venue, small venue but very chilled and comfortable. Barenaked Ladies were exceptional. Very interactive, chatty and fun. Would definitely see them again. Boothby Graffoe, who supported them, was very entertaining.

superb show in a smaller venue which added to the excellent atmosphere.

Big shout also for Boothby Graffoe, who opened the show ( and later joined in on one number). His excellent sense of humour and guitar playing complemented the BNL's well.

Artist Bio

Barenaked Ladies are a Canadian feel good rock band known for their freeform rap style and hilarious comedic performance style. A real favourite that cross borders of music genres earning them followers from hip hop fans to rockers.

Formed in 1988, the band formed a cult following after the release of a self-titled demo cassette known as The Yellow Tape due to its cover. This independent release was the first of it’s kind to be certified gold in Canada. Following this success they signed a major record deal with Reprise Records.

The Nineties saw the band grow in popularity with the release of albums Gordon (1992), Maybe You Should Drive (1994) and Born On A Pirate Ship (1996).

However it was the release of the album Stunt in 1998 that really saw the band explode. With their feel good style and witty character the band really chimed with the ironic humour of the decade.

It featured the massive single One Week which sold over 5 million copies and was a Number 1 in the United States, enjoyed great success in the UK and their homeland of Canada. Also included on the album was the single It’s All Been Done which also brought them massive international success.

Having shot to the world’s attention the band have continued tour and have recorded a further ten studio albums. To date they have sold approximately 15 million records.
