Despite the audience being old(ish) quite a big number were more interested in filming than in dancing. Why not banning people with mobile phone at standing level? The band were (as usual) very very good despite the mostly immoveable people.......

Absolutely amazing gig, really good show with old and new songs everyone a cracker. Great energy from the band. A fantastic auditorium with great acoustics and sound. 40 years and going strong.

They've still got it!

Brilliant night reliving previous Mary Chain gigs and enjoying guitar fuzz and feedback and fab drumming. They can still cut it! Some new tunes and all the classics. I went on my own because my daughter was ill and so, so glad I did. Ace.

The ultimate alternative rock band, Scottish noiseniks The Jesus and Mary Chain are led by brother s Jim and William Reid who are both recognised as key pioneers of the shoegaze scene.

They burst onto the scene with debut album Pyschocandy in 1985, immediately exciting critics and waking up the underground to their uncompromising, ear-splitting sound.
