An excellent performance at a brand new venue which was very good . I’ve seen the Bug Club several times over the last 2 years and they didn’t disappoint . The audience loved them .

The Bug Club were the headliners at the opening night of Newport's fabulous new venue The Corn Exchange. Their set was a high octane blast of indie rock which was enthusiastically received by the sold out crowd.

The Bug Club are a quirky indie rock band from Wales, known for their playful lyrics and catchy, garage-rock-inspired sound. Their EP Pure Particles (2021) received widespread acclaim, with tracks like “Checkmate” showcasing their knack for witty storytelling and infectious hooks.
The trio have built a reputation for their energetic live shows, performing at festivals like Green Man and supporting acts like The Lovely Eggs on tour.
