Three great sets from Nadine Shah, Johnny Marr and Suede in a great setting. My only complaint was the lack of organisation in the car park after the event where the car park stewards seemed more interested in having a cosy chat than in stewarding the vehicles leaving the event.

HERITAGE LIVE 2024 - Suede, Audley End, Essex - 1st August 2024
Fabulous gig with Suede on great form and an amazing set list. Brett Anderson was at the top of his game and gave his all for the fans. Johnny Marr and Nadine Shah were great too. Venue was great, easy to get into by car, only took 10mins despite warnings of up to 90mins. The field is sloped so you can get a pretty good view anywhere except from behind some of the big parasols. Plenty of food and drinks stalls so not much of a queue at any. Leaving the venue was also ok - took about 20 mins and not the 90 mins warned. If I had any gripe it was the sound - Simon Gilbert’s kick drum was over amplified and swamped the sound system (you can here this on some of the you tube clips) - I can’t believe they couldn’t hear this on the sound desk. Otherwise an unforgettable night and a well organised venue.

Absolutely stellar performance! Both Johnny Marr and Suede were brilliant! Marr is a legend and Brett Anderson was just incredible! Fantastic energy and great memories.
