Great to see Nick at home (or nearby at least) and playing a selection of old favourites, new material and stone classics. Shepherd's Bush Empire is a good venue even if the beer is a bit pricey!

Great to see Nick Lowe ‘live’ after so many years. His voice was in super fine fettle as he romped through many of his classic songs, along with some interesting new ones. His backing band Los Straightjackets were a revelation to me, as I’d never previously heard or indeed heard of them. Playing a kind of surf - Shadows - garage hybrid with great skill & a great sense of fun, they were for me the surprise smash hit of the evening!
