Kvelertak is a Norwegian metal band formed in Stavanger in 2007, known for their distinctive blend of black metal, punk rock, and classic rock influences. The band's name, which means "chokehold" or "stranglehold" in Norwegian, reflects their aggressive, high-energy sound.
