Rock Star

Frank and the Rattlesnakes are amazing. Frank has the stage presence you need from a great frontman and brilliant vocals. The variety of music the band now produce is incredible and I can't wait to see them again.

What a Night

The band never disappoints but there were a group of people who were only there to cause problems, to the point of even invading the girls only mosh pit. Security were good.

Artist Bio

Frank Carter came to the fore through his aggressive hardcore punk band Gallows before starting the alternative rock group Pure Love. He now returns to the full on rage of his previous work back by his new band The Rattlesnakes.

The Rattlesnakes include drummer Gareth Glover, guitarist Dean Richardson and Thomas Mitchener on bass with vocals from Frank Carter. They have released the EP Rotten and the LP Blossom since they began in 2015.

Carter first made his name with the band Gallows who formed in 2005 and quickly came to be defined by their furiously fast songs, their chaotic and sometimes violent shows with Carter’s vicious bulldog-esque voice barking the words. They famously signed to Warner Bros. Records with a golden £1 million album contract, lasting with the major only 18 months before the band were dropped despite winning the Kerrang! Award for Best British Newcomer. He remained the singer during the recording of the second Gallows album Grey Britain but the music press had already noticed some tensions by the time it was released in 2009. Carter left Gallows just over two years later issuing a statement that cited creative differences being the root cause and that he wished his former bandmates well.

Following his departure from Gallows in July, Carter immediately went on to start his new project Pure Love who played their first ever gig at the 2012 NME Awards. They recorded their debut album Anthems with Gil Norton (Foo Fighters, Pixies, Terrorvision) which was released in 2012 and followed by the EP The Bunny the following year.
