Excellent concert. Very reasonable price. Nice place. Third time I saw Fairport. They just get better all the time!

Fairport Convention, Union Chapel, London - 9th March 2024
I, and 4 friends went to the Fairport Convention show at the Union Chapel on Saturday night and, as it has been every time I've seen Fairport's, it was an excellent evening. They played many songs, both old and new, and everything was to an excellent standard. We have booked to go to the Cropredy Festival in August and I am looking forward to more of the same then!!

Fairport Convention, Union Chapel, London - 9th March 2024
The event was well organised, and the staff were incredibly polite and helpful, which meant a lot as my wife is disabled. Union Chapel is a good venue, with good sound and visibility. Fairport Convention are a great band and it was very much a family feel event. Thoroughly enjoyable evening.

The organisation at the Union Chapel was, as usual, excellent. The concert itself was also brilliant. Fairport Convention were their usual superb selves with great musicianship and performance which is to be expected from their many years in the business.

Fairport Convention have been entertaining music lovers for over half a century, having formed in 1967. During that time the band that launched British folk-rock has seen many changes, but one thing has remained the same - Fairport’s passion for performance. This year’s Winter Tour will present a mix of long-established Fairport favourites and some surprises from albums old and new. The band features founding member Simon Nicol on guitar and vocals, Dave Pegg on bass guitar, Ric Sanders on violin, Chris Leslie on fiddle, mandolin and vocals. Fairport will be joined on stage by former member Dave Mattacks on Drums.
