Shame

Shame are going to be massive - I saw them at the cookie club in Leicester about six months ago and again last night at the O2 in Leicester and they are the most exciting thing to happen since I was a punk in 1976 - go and see them !!!

Shame, O2 Academy, Leicester - 17th November 2018

Brilliant show with unforgettable moments. Shame are Britain's best live band

Shame, The Big Difference (formerly The Cookie), Leicester - 16th April 2018

Energy, authenticity and talent

Fantastic! A passionate band who understand the backbone, heart and soul of a live show. 100% full-tilt visceral urgency from the first note to the final chord. And all blended somehow with warmth, humour and displays of real affection from the band towards the crowd. Really good stuff.

An amazing gig.

An amazing gig, with an amazing band in a fantastic venue. I don’t think I have been to The Leadmill for over 15 years! Still brilliant. Tickets arrived promptly and were excellent value. Thank you.

Shame, The Leadmill, Sheffield - 9th April 2018

great atmosphere

Great atmosphere- have seen Shame before as support but good to see them headlining. Louisiana is a good Venue for upcoming bands but small capacity and low ceilings it got hot pretty and sweaty pretty quickly. My daughter and i both enjoyed the show put on by support band Rhythm Method who were very charismatic and would be pleased to see them do well.

With songs like ‘The Lick’, recalling the brooding menace of cult punk heroes Alternative TV and The Ruts, Shame now find themselves at the forefront of a compelling new scene in the capital, with bands like Goat Girl, FISH and Happy Meal Ltd being courted by every notable record label in the country. For the first time in years, it feels tangible, too, as if it might gestate into something bigger.” - Matt Wilkinson, NME
