Rick Buckler is a renowned English drummer best known for his pivotal role as a founding member of the iconic mod revival band The Jam. Alongside Paul Weller and Bruce Foxton, Buckler helped define the sound of the late 1970s and early 1980s with his tight, energetic drumming. His rhythmic precision and driving beats can be heard on many of The Jam’s biggest hits, including "Going Underground," "Town Called Malice," and "The Eton Rifles." With their mix of punk energy and melodic sensibilities, The Jam became one of the most influential bands of their era.

After The Jam disbanded in 1982, Buckler pursued various musical projects, including forming the short-lived band Time UK. In more recent years, he has been involved in The Gift, a tribute to The Jam, and has written about his time with the band in his book That's Entertainment: My Life in The Jam (2015). Known for his passionate playing and no-nonsense approach, Rick Buckler remains an iconic figure in the UK music scene, with a lasting legacy that continues to inspire generations of musicians.
