I like ZZ Top but really bought the tickets to see the two support acts, Those Damn Crows and Rival Sons. Both acts were fantastic with wonderful vocalists and totally rocking musicians. ZZ Top were excellent too. I haven't been to Wembley Arena since the 1980's and found the venue to be ok. We were sitting off to one side at the top, but still could still feel the sound coming through the floor and the view was fine. A bit of a queue for the toilets though.

Was a great show, ZZ Top were excellent. My only criticism would be that they could have spoken to the audience a bit more and said goodbye, considering this was their only UK date.

ZZ TOP were brilliant. probably the best concert I have seen. Supporting act was very disappointing. Sound engineers did a poor job in balancing volume & tone. I was just a wall of noise !!

A sturdy American blues-rock trio from Texas, ZZ Top specialized in down-and-dirty blues-rock during the '70s, then scored colorful MTV hits during the 1980s. Formed in Houston in 1970 by Billy Gibbons (guitar), Dusty Hill (bass), and Frank Beard (drums), the trio came from a pair of rival bands the Moving Sidewalks (Gibbons) and American Blues (Hill and Beard). Their first two albums reflected the strong blues roots and Texas humor of the band. Their third album (Tres Hombres) gained them national attention with the hit "La Grange," a signature riff tune to this day, based on John Lee Hooker's "Boogie Chillen." Their success continued unabated throughout the '70s, culminating with the year-and-a-half-long Worldwide Texas Tour.
