My friend and I went to the tour in December. It was a good experience because our round there were only 2 of us, lol! The guide is friendly and informative. It's suitable for young children indeed.

Christmas Lantern Adventure Tour, Wollaton Hall, Nottingham - 14th December 2019
Wollaton Hall has improved the visit to Santa experience. The children get a lovely, personal experience in a very festive setting. There is plenty of time for them to talk to Santa without feeling rushed. And also plenty space for parents and grandparents to watch too without feeling squashed. A great price - £6. The waiting area in the hall is much better than last year's Steam Punk market but could still be a little more festive I feel. Thank you very much to the big man himself too! He was brilliant :)

Visit Father Christmas at Wollaton Hall, Wollaton Hall, Nottingham - 22nd December 2019
On arrival inside wollaton hall was greeted with a smile by happy elfs, taking a seat to wait for Santa being inside the hall made even more special. My son has additional needs so was a little bit nervous but the whole experience and Santa was so good we thoroughly enjoyed it thank you.

I usually find council run heritage disappointing but the experiences at Wollaton Hall were really good value for money and accessible for all.
