such a tight band! awesome sound! B.C boys!

Awesome venue. not crowded. Discovered Wolf parade in October 2017, bloody guilty for not discovering them sooner! loved their style and sound live. Just so happened when I made the discovery of this band I found out they were on a UK/Europe tour...so I had to go see them! just awesome!

Wolf Parade, O2 Forum Kentish Town, London - 22nd November 2017

Wolf Parade are always amazing whenever they perform. Catch them when they play at Bristol’s Thekla and YES in Manchester during March 2020.

Artist Bio

Montreal indie rockers Wolf Parade have broken their hiatus, much to the delight of their many fans. Their return to the stage follows their re-entry to the studio.

Their band members include drummer Arlen Thompson, vocals being shared by keyboardist Specer Krug and guitarist Dan Boeckner with Dante Decare on bass.

This year has seen them just release their latest album Cry Cry Cry through their long term partners, the vital independent label Sub Pop. They promote the new material with headline shows that you need to attend.

Wolf Parade have a fantastic back catalogue of albums which starts with their 2005 debut Apologies To The Queen Mary. Further albums include At Mount Zoomer and Expo 86.

This year sees the release of their fearsome forth studio album Cry Cry Cry which is enjoying widespread critical acclaim. The soaring choruses, rousing anthems, sprawling guitars and chaotic keys that make up Wolf Parade are on proud display over the course of Cry Cry Cry, the band’s thunderous first album in seven years.

That unique combination of sounds and influences, spearheaded by electric co-frontmen Spencer Krug and Dan Boeckner-a complex yet relatable, energetic brew of glam, prog, synth-rock, and satisfying discomfort-helped define 2000s indie rock with three critically celebrated albums, and propelled a growing Wolf Parade fandom even after the band went on a then-indefinite hiatus in 2010.

Cry Cry Cry is 21st-century rock at its most delectably omnivorous.” - Uncut

It finds them in rejuvenated form. Their lyrical seriousness is present and correct.” - Q Magazine

Wolf Parade captures how complacency allows simmering tensions to metastasize.” - Slant Magazine
