This was an excellent show. The civil was very packed but could still move about. 5 out of 5

Great Performance in a not so great Venue

+ Great performance of Thunder - Drunken audience not respecting other people's needs. Unpolite security and Staff. Entrance not organized at all. Dull venue. Bar not organized.

Awesome

Thunder never fail to deliver 110% but this show was even better, with two sets and the mix of own hits and covers everyone had a ball. The venue was easy to find, great security, decent bar and prices and I would definitely return there for other events.

Xmas begins here

Best Xmas show ever . The sound was excellent, visually it was stunning and what a set list of classic rock songs and also some well known covers. Combine the atmosphere with the above and Xmas got into full swing at wolverhampton civic on 15/12/2017

Formed in 1989, UK hard rock act Thunder are back with a vengeance! After several line up changes and numerous break-ups the band have built on the success of recent reunion gigs, a 2015 European tour and the release of a new album in the same year to once again hit the road.

To make sure you don’t miss out on one of the UK’s most enduring rock acts, make sure you book early as they will go.

Signed to EMI Thunder’s first album Back Street Symphony was produced by Andy Taylor of Duran Duran fame, with this blues-rock effort followed by an appearance at the Monsters of Rock festival in 1990 and another album - Laughing on Judgement Day - in 1992, which rocketed to number two in the UK chart. More albums followed but after the release of their fifth long player in 1999 the band split - with guitarist and songwriter Luke Morley going solo.

The following year saw them reunite for major shows, including the Monsters of Rock UK tour in 2002, as well as studio time that spawned the release of more albums, including Bang!, their ninth album in 2009. This year saw the band part ways yet again, with Morley forming The Union while front man Danny Bowles appeared with Kenney Jones of Small Faces fame at a number of live shows. From 2011 to 2014 the band continued to play for one-off shows as well as supporting rock legends Whitesnake and Journey. Back in the limelight, the band’s dedicated fans willed them to return to the studio. The release of Wonder Days in 2015 is proof that the boys still know how to write a tune, with Morley’s powerhouse riffs and engaging melodies again the perfect compliment to Bowles’ distinctive and much-loved voice.
