The talk on Living Witchcraft was very well attended, entertaining, fun and, most of all, enlightening. It put to bed many myths, explained very clearly how and why Ms Hodgkinson is pagan, and dispelled - see what I did there - any nonsensical prejudices or fear that still remains with witchcraft. It is understanding how to use the positive energy source inside us, knowing how to use herbs and other plants medicinally (which after all is basically where all our modern day medication originates from), and appreciating the natural life around us. A fascinating and educational workshop that had the audience enthralled. Well done, Ms Hodgkinson.

John Holmes has been a BBC radio and television presenter for fifty years. From his 'apprenticeship' creating sound effects for radio programmes such as The Archers, experiences with The Goons, producing panel programmes such as 'Down Your Way and Any Questions, and through to local radio are fascinating. Listening to him talk about his music knowledge and the celebrities he has worked with, as he discussed events in his book 'This is the BBC Holmes Service: Fifty Years with the BBC' were riveting, and well recommended.
