I always enjoy coming to the Moth and subscribe to the Podcast. A live event is always more immediate and exciting to be part of. I very much enjoyed Benji Waterhouse's hosting and compering the evening. So much so, that I immediately bought his book, 'You Don't Have to be Mad to Work Here' on Audible, and finished listening to it today! It was particularly relevant to me, as I have worked in Forensic Mental Health, PICU s and the like for over 30 years. There were many resonant moments, familiar themes, gallows humour and pathos. Beautifully portrayed. Thanks so much Benji. The stories on the evening of The Moth were powerful and, as always, moving. How brave all the presenters are! I am a Dramatherapist and my work has involved enabling, in whichever way possible, clients to tell their personal stories. We, as Benji notes, in his wonderful book, sometimes work through our personal troubles and issues alongside our clients. We also bring in our humanity and hopefully our humility, in the knowledge that there is no magic cure for being human and our attempts to survive all kinds of adversity. Thank you everyone for all you do, providing a platform to share life stories and keep humanity alive in our troubled world. ,
