Steve Hackett is an A list musician with an extraordinary back catalogue: what’s not to like. New stuff is quality also. Great night and my wife, who was with and knew nothing of his past, was enthralled.

Some fine renditions of his own pieces, an especially lovely Shadow of the Hierophant and Hands of the Priestess, plus Passing Clouds was special in the RAH, the lightshow worked very well. But I think most of us were really there for the Genesis tracks, and weren't disappointed: pretty much all the best bits of the Lamb, along with the Selling England highlights. Dancing with the Moonlit Knight and Firth of Fifth (with full intro) were the best of the best, spectacular and superb.

Steve Hackett rose to fame as the lead guitarist of the world-famous progressive rock band Genesis between the years of 1971 and 1977. His pioneering sound has seen him entered into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
He has released twenty-eight solo studio albums, including his latest title Surrender of Silence which dropped in 2021.
