Wild unforgettable night

Small intimate venue, really made the night. The band was amazing as they always have been when I've seen them! Highly highly highly recommend!!! Was nice to meet the guys after and getting tickets signed, they were so lovely, full of positive energy and vibes! this band needs to go far!!!!!

AMAZINGGGGG

So fab. One of my fave bands ever and such a good and intimate venue! (One of my fave venues, im from Nottingham but don't mind travelling a bit to Leicester, 'cause I really like The Cookie! Haha) I know they had a problem with a leak from the bathroom, but it was dealt with really fast and well!! My ticket order came through quick too, was really easy to order and figure out how it was used. (Printing at home) All of the bands ran to the schedule too!!(:

Spring King, The Big Difference (formerly The Cookie), Leicester - 26th June 2017

Spring King is a four-piece post punk band from Manchester. Their fiery garage sound draws on art rock and has earned them great critical acclaim. This year sees them release their second album A Better Life this summer.

Catch them making a headline performance at Bristol Thekla, Nottingham’s Rescue Rooms and O2 Institute2 Birmingham during September 2018.

Originally a solo project, the band was started by songwriter and producer Tarek Musa whose role in the band is to sing and play drums. Enlisting school friends James Green, Andy Morton and Peter Darlington Spring King became a full band.

Their first single was titled Mumma/Mumma Pt. II and was released through the label Trangressive in 2014. It was then followed by the EP Demons.

The follow up EP They’re Coming After You came out through the label Handsome Dad. It features the song City which was debuted on Beats 1 by Zane Lowe.

Their debut album is titled Tell Me If You Like To and was released in summer of last year to huge fanfare from the critics.
