Cristal Palace mesmerized again by James. Opening with Johnny Yen, in the set in 1990 too, and ending with Sometimes, they delivered a stellar performance of better known songs alternated to some brilliant B sides not often played, suspendong time for a night of magic sounds and an epic 33rd anniversary of that first time they played the same place. Recognised by an adoring ovation at the endi ng, in a moving and joyful communal moment.

Have seen James countless times since 1988 and they are always brilliant. Tim Booth is the ultimate front man, mesmerising and. Fully engaged with his audience. Great to see the interaction with the band. Loved it.
