The show was very good and Roger and the musicians all very talented. However I just found it a bit too political

Roger Waters, The O2 Arena, London - 6th June 2023
Loved this event, stage show and lights were spectacular and the sound was magnificent. Roger was reflective and unapologetic about political content which has been consistent over decades, suggesting people who weren't interested in the message and themes should remove themselves to the bar. The gig was uplifting and the music as powerful as ever, graphics from Final Cut song about nuclear War were gut wrenching and devastating. The performance of the Wall was a timeless and timely reminder of the dangers of Fascism and the need to protect human rights. The only thing that spoiled the show was the groups of drunken, selfish people who shouted over the songs and drowned out the quieter performances, going to the bar and toilet every 10 minutes and blocking everyone's view when they couldn't find their way back to their seats. Absolute spoilers. So glad to have seen the show nevertheless. Roger Waters has reached a ripe old age and it didn't detract from his performance which was rousing and emotional. The production values were inspiring and the man remains at the top if his game. So very sad to hear he has been accused of being anti Semitic because he supports Palestinian rights as Human rights. The finale was interesting and so much more enjoyable than the dragged out wait for a predictable encore. Kudos to the lighting designers for fabulous visuals too.
