Rock & Bike 2018 - Incredible!

My first festival and boy, did I hit the jackpot!! From the fantastic, professional organisation, cleanliness of site, ample facilities and great layout to the superb arena and catering & bar arrangements! And the bands were superb! Whilst not hugely into rock, I am into live music and none of the bands failed to impress! Equally, there was superb diversity in the acts, from the highly entertaining 'Surreal Panther' (you will wet yourself!) to the brilliant 'Big County' (my era). And who would have thought the magnificent tribute act 'Fleetwood Bac' would have ended the weekend with several thousand, predominantly hairy ar*ed bikers singing their hearts out to 'Go Tour Own Way'...?! And whilst perhaps slightly before my time, 'Lindisfarne' were superb - I've never seen so many people dancing...! But perhaps the element of the weekend that absolutely made it, was the crowd. Several thousand of the friendliest, engaging folk I've ever met and far more diverse than a 'rock & bike' weekend would suggest. You'd struggle not to fit in as absolutely nobody gave a second thought to anything other than listening to great music, drinking fantastic ale and having great time! Equally, everyone had so much respect, for the bands, the site and each other. I'm sure folk at Glastonbury don't actively pick up litter and keep their festival site as tidy as this was kept. As we packed up on the Sunday, there was hardly a sign anyone had been there. Respect too, for the locals and for the 'quiet after 11' policy. Slightly apprehensive about whether I'd sleep, this was one of the quietest camp sites I've ever stayed on....All round, a superb weekend that I cannot fault in any way. And given that I live less than a mile away, I have perhaps more of a vested interest than most in this festival remaining such a superb visitor to our community. Well done to all involved and thank-you! Rock on 2019....

Well organised fantastic bands

Just came for Saturday. The event was well organised with great cover bands. We came especially to see Midnite City and they were amazing as always.

Rock and Bike Fest 2024, Longmoor Lane, Breaston, Derbyshire - 11th July 2024

Lovely people and amazing music

We arrived on the Thursday afternoon and stayed until Sunday morning, we met some incredible like minded people. Music was great, some of the bands were amazing. We watch the bike awards on Saturday some amazing creations. Some of the food stalls could of been better, perhaps a wrap or flatbread cold/hot alternative, especially for vegans/veggies. Excellent value for money and will definitely be returning next year.
