The entertainment was brilliant,I loved the castle surroundings.The toilets were clean which is rare in festivals.

Retroactive Festival, Caldicot Castle, Monmouthshire - 7th July 2017
The music line-up was great with Queen tribute band a real highlight. However the rules of no chairs, drink or food of any description was something of a spoiler and a think the small number of tickets sold reflected this. The drinks prices were absolutely outrageous with cheaper drinks on 4* cruise lines. Lovely venue and great gig but please think again about the above rules.

The venue was fantastic, it wasn't jam packed, so everyone could have a little dance. The artists were amazing and it exceeded my expectations, thank you for a really well organised and well run event.

4 out of 5 of the acts were very entertaining and full of energy. The 5th unfortunately who I shall not name but is Australian, although OK managed to slow the whole tempo/atmosphere back down. This act put on some acoustic songs which are always a sign of an artist whose vocal range has peeked 😕. Venue was beautiful and the food and refreshments stands were of a very good standard. Would definitely be interested in future events.
