small but personal venue, great support bands, vibrant atmosphere, great songs and connection with the crowd. Just a shame there were no encores!

Pale Waves is a British indie-pop band formed in Manchester in 2014. The band consists of Heather Baron-Gracie (vocals, guitar), Ciara Doran (drums), Hugo Silvani (guitar), and Charlie Wood (bass). They gained early recognition with their debut single "There’s a Honey" in 2017, produced by The 1975's Matty Healy and George Daniel.
Their debut album, My Mind Makes Noises (2018), received critical acclaim for its blend of 80s-inspired synth-pop and modern indie rock. This was followed by their second album, Who Am I? (2021), which showcased a more mature and introspective sound. Pale Waves' music often explores themes of love, identity, and mental health, resonating with a wide audience.
Known for their distinctive goth-pop aesthetic and emotionally charged performances, Pale Waves continue to make significant waves in the indie music scene. Their third album, Unwanted (2022), further cemented their status as a leading band in contemporary indie-pop.
They are currently preparing to release their new album Smitten (2024),
