LA based band Moonchild is the work of multi-instrumentalists Amber Navran, Max Bryk, and Andris Mattson. Their previous work includes the albums Be Free, Please Rewind, Voyager and Little Ghost which has marked them by their peers and the music press as the ones to watch.

Their most recent record is titled Voyager which is released at the end of the month. It sees them explore soul and new-school jazz, promising to be one of the most exciting new albums of the year.

They have just announced a handful of exciting dates for the new year! Be sure to see them at Trinity Centre in Bristol, O2 Academy2 Birmingham, Band On The Wall at Manchester, O2 Forum Kentish Town in London and Concorde 2 at Brighton during February 2022.

Artist Bio

LA-based trio Moonchild (Amber Navran, Andris Mattson, and Max Bryk) epitomise a mix of intricate, progressive musicality with a classic laid-back and blissful sound that has been famously associated with the West Coast legacy across the decades. Rooted in Neo-Soul and the Black American music that has and continues to inspire them, their sound showcases the respect, musical understanding, and love the trio have, both for each other and their collaborators.

2019’s critically acclaimed ‘Little Ghost’ followed the widely-praised ‘Voyager’ [2017], ‘Please Rewind’ [2015] and ‘Be Free’ [2012]. These releases have been shown love by DJs across BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra, BBC Radio 2, BBC 6Music, FIP, KCRW, Jazz FM (who previously named the band Soul Act Of The Year), Worldwide FM, and KEXP.
