Let's Rock The Retro Winter Tour , OVO Hydro, Glasgow - 11th December 2019
Fantastic night with lots of really good performers. Nik Kershaw, Marc Almond, Jimmy Somerville & Tony Hadley were all absolutely first class but Boney M, Dr & The Medics, Toyah & Claire Grogan were all also worthy of a mention. In fact Boney M could have had a longer slot really as they were very good and really had the crowd going but only had the time to perform half of their hits. Our seats were great and really good value for money. We danced all night long and loved it. We would definitely come again and would definitely recommend both the venue and the event to others.

A very enjoyable evening, but I wouldn't have minded some more Christmas music- which I appreciate is up to the individual artists. Loved Jimmy Summerville.

I love these Retro tours and this was another one to add to the list. The acts were amazing all the way from Dr & The Medics who got the party started with Slade's iconic Merry Xmas Everybody, through to the amazing voice of Tony Hadley. Acts on show included Toyah, Altered Images, Nik Kershaw, Marc Almond and many more, but the two outstanding performances for me were Boney M and Jimmy Somerville who had the audience rocking in the aisles. Roll on next year.

What a fab evening, the groups sang their greatest hits, apart from Tony Hadley who sang more of other peoples that Spandau Ballet. Jimmy Somerville was the highlight of the night!! It was great to have the houseband which kept the groups flowing rather than having to wait for each band to set up. The venue was great but would have been nice to have had the big screens on for the first half of the night like the second half. Plenty of bars to cater for the crowds including tea, coffee and some food. Staff were very helpful. Can't wait till next year.!!
