Amazing time at the Gorilla Club to see a living Soul Legend! Lee Fields and his band the Expressions were incredible once in a blue moon do you get the opportunity to see live Soul and Blues music to this quality and authenticity in the UK. Thank you Manchester for an amazing night, travelled from the West Midlands to attend. Venue was small but staff were lovely and friendly, sound was amazing. Small criticism from my friend that came along in that there were too many people in attendance in such a small space he felt the gig was over sold in terms of people. I’ll treasure this experience thank you Mr.Fields and your amazing band please come to Birmingham next time - the Night Owl perhaps or Hare & Hounds it would be unreal to see you again!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lee Fields is a great singer, but it got a bit tiring him asking “Are you happy!” and some of the songs were a bit on the slow side for a live performance. It would have been nice if he he had more to say to the crowd other than the above. The Gorilla is a good venue but was overcrowded to the point you gave up even bothering to try to get to the bar. I bought a pint of beer and a medium wine and that came in at £11.80! We managed to get out of all the pushing in the mosh pit and up onto the mezzanine at the back and got a good view of the show from there. Would I go to see Lee Fields again, probably not.

From first to last an incredible performance, with a mix of old and new songs, the crowd were into the gig big time. Fantastic vocals as ever from Mr Fields and the band on top form, next gig can't come soon enough
