John Legend, AO Arena, Manchester - 16th September 2017

Superb Performance

A true professional in every sense of the word. However must not forget Jack Savorotti who was also brilliant and will no doubt fill O2 arena oneway himself

John Legend, The O2 Arena, London - 12th September 2017

Epic Performance !

Great sound quality . Excellent view from seats in block 106 row AA. John Legend was incredible , such a pure , powerful voice . Certainly lived up to his name. Loved the combination of old and new songs . Some of the lighting was a little extreme , with too much flashing for my liking at times , but I'm sure others may have found it ok. Overall a great night and an epic performance !!!

John Legend, The O2 Arena, London - 12th September 2017

a bit samey and we got a bit bored. All of me was the highlight at the end

Not much charisma as a performer - no engagement with the audience eg. anecdotes of what the song is about. Very American 'I love all you beautiful people'.....

Grammy Award winning R&B song writer John Legend always puts on an incredible show, marking him as one of the world’s greatest live entertainers.

Following the release of his awesome album Darkness And Light last year, Legend has now announced an extensive tour which takes him to The SSE Hydro at Glasgow, Metro Radio Arena at Newcastle, Metro Arena Nottingham, The O2 Arena in London, Manchester Arena, Liverpool Echo Arena, Cardiff Motorpoint Arena and Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham during September 2017.

Everyone is after John Legend tickets so you need to set a personal reminder so you are ready for their release at 09:00 on Friday 31st through Gigantic which will alert you with a text message or email when they become available.

He burst onto the scene with the release of his debut album Get Lifted in 2004. Subsequent album titles include Once Again, Evolver and Love In The Future.

Last year saw the release of his latest record Darkness And Light. Produced by song writer Blake Mills, it features guest appearances from Miguel, Brittany Howard and Chance The Rapper. Darkness And Light took a darker tone than his previous work and was championed by the critics as one of the most important records of 2016.

Each track has its own kind of burning intensity. The album's front, back, and inner photos are in black-and-white, but the music evokes rich shades of yellow, orange, and red.” - AllMusic

Much moodier than he’s ever been, it feels as though John Legend has musically turned a corner with these 12 songs, if for no other reason than the supposed reality that in an artistic setting, feeling bad is infinitely more interesting than feeling good.” - PopMatters
