Jesca Hoop, Metronome Nottingham, Nottingham - 17th October 2023
Jesca was great as ever. Excellent sound quality in The Barbican Hall meant the vocal harmonies sounded absolutely fantastic. Some great audience banter as well. The Leisure Society kicked the evening off with an excellent set - I'd not really heard them before so was pleasantly surprised. Altogether a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

My daughter and I thought you were amazing, so talented. Thank you for signing her CD and giving her a hug. You will have a fan base for a very long time if you show that much generosity. Thanks again Susan

Jesca Hoop, Chalk, Brighton - 2nd December 2017
Californian songwriter Jesca Hoop exemplifies the raw, honest singer / songwriter sound.
Born in Santa Rosa on 21st of April. 1975; Hoop grew up in a Mormon community where she would first develop her musical talents singing hymns and folk tunes. Choosing to relocate to the U.K., Hoop would later sign with iconic indie label Sub Pop and continues to write and record to critical acclaim.
Her studio albums include Hunting My Dress (2009), The House That Jack Built (2012), Memories Are Now (2017), Stonechild (2019,) The Deconstruction Of Jack's House (2021) and Order Of Romance (2022).
