Gomez - Bring It On 20th Anniversary show, TramShed, Cardiff - 29th August 2018

well, they certainly brung it on.....!!

The gig was great, the guys really delivered! The crowd was much bigger than I expected, which was good to see. The sound was good, but most important the performance was relaxed, yet fresh, vibrant and also familiar - real quality. The only down side was the guy stood next to me who insisted on clapping along, very loudly, but just off the beat.... and the security to get in was a bit intense.... but the gig was great - well done Gomez, I'm tempted to go to Norwich!!

Gomez , O2 Academy Bristol, Bristol - 2nd May 2018

Less talking amongst the audience.

The band were top class. Absolutely no criticism of them. But some members of the audience seemed to be more interested in their own little worlds. Never understood how people pay good money and the booking fee(???) and then just chat away. Also if the band are playing a 10 minute wig out, what's the point of recording 30 seconds of it on your phone. The support (John Smith) was very good indeed. I will certainly be keeping an eye out for him in future. So what have we learnt? Go to a concert, shut your gob. Watch the band and soak up the atmospher. Also when pushing through the crowd to get back to your mates, try using the words excuse me a bit more often.
