Ghostpoet, Motion, Bristol - 14th November 2017

He's so cool

At the end he climbed down into the audience and shook hands and chatted. What a nice guy and a great performer too.

Ghostpoet, Plug, Sheffield - 29th October 2017

Ghostpoet has just announced an autumn\winter 2020 tour which takes him to SWX at Bristol, Manchester Academy 2 and London EartH in November, then Cambridge Junction during December.

We know that it is easy to let things slip your mind, and so Gigantic allows you to set a personal reminder which will alert you with either a text message or an email just prior to the release of Ghostpoet gig tickets at 10:00 on Friday 13th of March.

Artist Bio

Obaro Ejimiwe better known as Ghostpoet breaks down conventions in hip hop, showing great inventiveness as an MC as his beats and flow brim with drowsy anxiety.
Having unveiled his brand-new song Immigrant Boogie, the first new material since the release of his third highly acclaimed third album Shedding Skin interest around the enigmatic performer is on the rise once again.

Ghostpoet tickets are currently available through Gigantic, but only in limited amounts. Make sure you book your tickets early because they will sell quickly and you so not want to miss out on seeing this great contemporary artist who has the makings of becoming a modern great.

Ejimiwe dropped his debut album Peanut Butter Blues & Melancholy Jam in 2011. The sheer talent exhibited on the record was recognised immediately and saw him nominated for the Mercury Music Prize. It would be followed two years later with a similarly stunning second album Some Say I So I Say Light.

His latest offering came in 2015 and is titled Shedding Skin. Awing the critics and fans alike, the third album also saw him nominated for the Mercury Music Prize.

It’s effectively atmospheric, giving a raw, insomniac groove to the gritty notes draining from electric guitars and a twitch of dirty old fluorescent bulbs in the glitchy drum beats.” - The Telegraph
