Amazing show! Extreme are the original funk rock. They haven’t aged!!! Awesome show and can’t wait to see them again!

Extreme, O2 Academy Bristol, Bristol - 18th December 2017
First time at the O2 (but not the last), first time seeing Dan Reed Network (but not the last) and first time seeing Extreme. Good location, good view from the Stalls and Dan Reed Network were superb. A good mix of old and new songs, polished performance and the epitome of a good support act - warming the appreciative crowd up nicely. More importantly the sound was perfect for the size of the venue. Extreme on the other hand were too loud for a smaller venue and took a while to warm up. Kevin Figueiredo was superb on the drums from start to finish and Nuno Bettencourt is a wizard with a guitar no matter how many strings they have - and an accomplished drum duet half way through. Ironically my favorite part of the set is when they pared everything down for a couple of numbers from III Sides to Every Story. With two dates left on the tour I had expected more but Dan Reed made sure the entry fee was justified.
