Eleanor Friedberger is a highly talented singer, song writer and multi-instrumentalist. Her cute brand of indie pop is fun, upbeat and very cool in an offhand way.

She is perhaps better known as making up one half indie band The Fiery Furnaces with her brother Mathew Friedberger. With the band going on hiatus in 2011, Eleanor has elected to pursue a successful career as a solo musician.

Last Summer was the first record she released working solo. It came out on the label Merge in 2011 and was met with great acclaim. Second album Personal Record was also released by Merge in 2013. This record was co-written be talented folk singer and novelist John Wesley Harding. Her work featured and unpredictable style that makes for refreshing listening.

He third album, New View, was released though Frenchkiss Records in January of this year. It was praised by critics for its quirky lyrics providing an insight into her headspace. Honest, genuine and in places fragile, the album draws people in and gives them the feeling of having shared something with the artist.
